Super excited that for the FIRST TIME in my life, i gonna attend MIA MUSICA as an audience. FYI: MIA MUSICA is MARSILING SECONDARY SCHOOL's, my alma mater, concert which showcases our many talents including CHINESE ORCHESTRA, CONCERT BAND and CHOIR. I can't wait to see how my juniors will perform. Hope tomorrow will be a nice concert for me and sengyie. HAHA.
I still rmb how we had numerous practices just to perfect our parts, train till our muscles are sore and rehearse and rehearse just for that ~45 mins of fame. The joy, laughter and tears. Now, it's finally our turn to enjoy the show! YAY. So, will be posting more happenings about it after tmr. =)
Training at CCAB tmr. It's like FINALLY!!!! & today AARON told me that red-brick (up)slope is taken out. THAT'S A BAD NEWS TO ME!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG. But i dun really noe the exact details of the new route but i suppose it would be a relatively easier route then. Sigh. & u guys must be thinking that i m crazy for feeling disappointed but seriously, if the route is easy. Everyone's effort needed to conquer the race will be easier so, chances of winning is lower. It's just like exams, if the paper is easy, everyone scores well. ARRGGH..nvrtheless i will still train of course. Haha.
Anyway, just found out that JJC in on STOMP again. Sigh. Havent seen the article but it's on our water-wasting camps again. Oh well, dun really noe how to comment on this but i m feeling very irritated by how, when in public, ur every action is under those STOMPers' scrutiny and wat's even worse is that STOMPers are everywhr.
Issue on wasting water aside, but my general feeling with this STOMP idea is a really very powerful media. U can really see that there is participation from the public. BIG NEWS and small news get posted up and man, CAN THESE PPL REALLY RESPOND! I dun mind news that are worth of a concern to be posted up but seriously, little little news also get posted up. Such as " my bike is infested with red ants!" Like what for tell people?!?!!? I dun get it. The idea of STOMP is good becos it trains the public to be aware of their surroundings n be the first to capture down the news. But, i dun think that it is really appropriate to take pictures of ppl ,posting it up on the net and criticising their actions which u feel that it may be wrong. Just put urself into the person being photographed. WOULD U HAVE LIKE THE FEELING OF BEING 'FEATURED' on the net? WOULD U LIKE TO SEE THOSE COMMENTS(sometimes really nonsensical n doesnt make sense) ON UR ACTIONS? WORSE STILL, sometimes, it becomes a personal attack. Thr's just no more privacy in this society anymore unless u COOP urself at home...but then, WATS THE POINT OF LIVING THEN?
So ya, kind of irritated by some of these news. Wish they culd just be mature enuff and really post matters that really concern the nation, security or welfare of people. But of coz, readers have to be discerning themselves and be wise in choosing what to read and what not to read(& care). Haha.
