1WEEK BREAK IS SAYING HELLO TO ME!!!!

Finally holidays are here and i can grab more sleep while i can. OMG. I cant imagine years w/o holidays, i will be a zombie by march?? HAHA. Why do i say so?
Because my sleeping timings went haywire since last week!! OMG. I think i could almost leave my paper blank for chemistry test if not for the 2hours that MSWUN graciously let us study for chem during her period. I seriously hate myself for always feeling tired at the wrong timing n falling asleep when i shldnt have! The night before chem test, i was sitting infront of my desk and trying to conc, but to my horror. I find my eyelids weighing a thousand tonnes too heavy to open..in the end, i went to take a nap at 9.30. Wanted to wake up at 11 n in the end i only managed to drag myself out at 11.30. I studied awhile say until 12 plus plus? I slept again....til i 2.30 woke up n tried to study. I went to sleep at 4 and all the way till 6.15am. HOW GREAT WAS THAT??? I felt so damn guilty for the whole morning n tried to study as much as i can. N last friday was also the first time i stepped into library to study. XD
But, good thing is i find the chem paper manageable. My brain didnt give up on me when i was studying or doing my test paper. Ok, for once i love my brain. haha
Fast-forward to Saturday. OMG. The seminar deprived me from sleep again. We reached NTU an hr before the seminar. It's an econs seminar on government policies. Haha. Quite interesting and insightful for some parts. Nice food during every 1.5 break. XD. I guess the most fruitful thing that i gained from my trip to NTU was the openhse. I found out one of the new couses offered in the School Of Arts and Social Science called Linguistic and Multilingual Studies(i think)...it's like the study of the use and languages. Sounds interesting and might be useful for my future..but hmm....seriously, after speaking to the professor i/c about this, her theories are so weird. I asked her bout the future prospects...n he initial answer was " Well, in fact, how many people are doing jobs that are related to what they studied?" In my mind, i was like " DDDUUH, must also study sth of USEEEE...."
I mean, my concerns are not unfound. How do u apply for jobs and say, " Well, u shld employ me coz i have done research on languages be4 and studied the use and ways of communication." Hmmmm...is it of specific use??? I dunno but i still think, getting a business degree would be a more practical.
Oh and did i mention that ytd was the most unfortunate day of the year? I got poked by needles and staples within a span of an hour. First, i got poked by a needle at the buffet table when i leaned onto the buffet table to get a plate. Second, i got scratched by a staple on my thumb when i was putting my notes into a paper bag. Third, i got shocked from the pain and withdraw my hand, n i got scratched by that vry staple again. GDI. But watever it is, that's not the point. It's not bout the pain but after i got thru this whole incident, this very thot of getting HIV virus came to my mind.
Seriously, what if that needle was contaminated? It may give me an infection since it poked right into my thigh...and even worse, what if some HIV virus is on the needle when it pierced into my skin? I just find that each and everyone of us is just as vulnerable to such dangers. Just imagine if some crazy guy come rushing to u and pierce a HIV-contaminated needle into ur skin? Would u be able to still live life as normal and accomplish things on ur to-do list? Can you even blame that crazy guy since what's done has been done. Futhermore, it's an irreversible action. CAN U IMAGINE THAT?!?!! If i were the victim, the only thing i could see is my future tumbling and shattering into pieces. Hopeless is the word. Death is the only and nearest exit. The thot of it is enuff to send shivers down my spine. SO SUPER UBER SCARY. URRGH.
