ORIENTATION 1 2008

AH HA! Met my OG10 campers on ADMIN DAY. They are so quiet until it's deafening! But, read on. :)

Tried to make them cheer, requires alot of effort thou..and everone's so shy. But, i didnt mind alot since, the interaction will come much only on CAMP DAY 1. SO well, i waited.

CAMP DAY 1

They are back wif their BARANGS BARANGS!! Subject registration was ok, except two of my campers havent got their result slips from their alma mater and it wasnt any of their fault. It was the ******* teachers fault. OMG. Wat were they thinking!?! They vry well know that the students would nid result slips for registration rite? DDDUH? & wat for keep their result slips for them, they WUN BE COMING BACK ALREADY!

Initially, MsELVINA told them to leave camp to collect result slips..but in the end, she said leave it in her pigeon hole on TUES..which. Has passed, & i have yet do that coz THEY HAVENT COLLECT!!! Lol. I pray hard that i wun get to c her, if not she's gonna kill me. =P

So, it was ICEBREAKERS. I missed it coz i had to practice mass dance in council room.

& Speaking bout MASSDANCE.
Thanks YONGHONG for being my dance partner, subjecting to the torments and abuses i inflicted. MUAHAHAHAHA. I didnt mean it, but i guess i think i did it on purpose. WAHAHAHAHAHA. Who ask u so suay. =P But seriously, thanks loads.

P.S rmb to catch the girl partner's hands back OK!! XD

SO yea, most of the time.. My camp revolve alot around MASSDANCE. 6 hours of pure massdancing on DAY 1. I rmb during O2'07 when i was teaching mass dance, oso not that long man. But, of coz it was FUN ok. Sweat like hell and dance so damn high. WEEEEE~

& i so love geeks get the girls. MUAHAHAHA. SO many fun things to do when posing. LOL.
Danced w/ yh, sheldon and juen keat. All three are good partners. SHELD is the high high one..JUENKEAT is the COOOL poses. I've never been so dao/cool when dancing la. LOL.
During JJNITE, we paired up and dance wearing a JJ cap. So funny la..coz we act 'emo' + 'cool' + 'mysterious' ppl on stage. LOL. But tht's a refreshing experience. CHORI CHORI is the most CRAZY dance of all. Crazy becos it's vry nice to dance and u keep jumping around..but crazy oso becos i m standing infront, 2 rows away from Benja. Terrible terrible sight coz most of the time i had to turn my head 90deg to look for the change in dance steps. TERRIBLE HORRIBLE VEGETABLE!! XD

OK, back to day 1. We had song singing at nite. THE SUPER DUPER HIGH STARTING with songs like Don't Cha & YMCA. It's just like clubbing as wat Mr Leow termed ' JJ ZOUK OUT'. WOoooooOOoo. J1 girls and boys are ever so shy can....during the emo parts..they just wun put their hand over each other shoulders. So i had to stand in between them to cover the gap. BLEAAHH. &..Mr leow started talking to us. Scolded the ogls as weren't performing up to standard, didnt make the campers enjoy their stay in JJ and etc. I was so hurt becos TRUTH HURTS. I broke down n cried...like broken taps ok. FREAAAK. I think everyone got a shock man...*giggles*

But but, it's kinda a blessing in disguise coz they got damn high when we were playing night games. Those quiet ones started leading cheers and participating enthusiastically. Especially the game called LONGEST LINE. The game goes like this, participants are to use anything on their body/ with them to line it up & the goal is from Fireflys to Guard House. It seemed impossible at first la..coz it's quite faraway and obviously a few pens, notebooks and 24 pairs of shoes wun help. So they almost voluntarily took out their shoelaces and the GUYS took off their tops. That's what i call the POSITIVE ATTITUDE!! WOOTS.

& of coz, i can't repeat enuff what Khanh( pronounced as Kai) told me.

Somehow, i thot we didnt get a good bunch of campers. but i realise, they sometimes can be sweet, caring and appreciative. & they rawk now.

Becos of the SECOND NIGHT!!!! It was after JJ nite..& we werent getting emo a single bit. LOL. Then we were having supper first before showering. SO during supper time..everyone was just eating and chit-chatting among themselves. Wif two exceptions. Two groups of campers were talking wif some ogls about ghost stories. Ok, a great big step from being quiet and oblivious to us. Haha. Then then...XINGLU came to save the day( i mean night). He started playing games. First one was BLACKMAGIC. Now i noe how to play liao!! YAY. It kept us guessing and so amazed whenever the person guesses correctly the secret item. Then, we played a series of other such games. It made the whole OG so bonded!! Oh AM I SO GLAD OKAYS. Coz basically, the second night oredi marks the end of the camp. Third day got nth much except for some area cleaning and E-WEB to do. That's all. SO, YAY. HAPPY HAPPY.

During E-WEB, no one cried. Haha. Surprisingly, but yea...we as OGLS are kinda glad that they felt for us and could see the effort we put in to make them enjoy the camp. They also thanked their og mates so i suppose they could see those lil things that they did for them. GOOD!

Then. Break camp & had lunch with OG10 at JP, KFC. OH IT'S SO FUN. Much as i feel like sleeping but the things we do just make me feel that i could still stay up late just to spend time with them. & guess what we did for 2hours after eating...we played those silly games again. XINGLU la...his mind all full of those games.

Then ON SUNDAY was XingLu's Rugby Homecoming Match, we went down to support thou i missed it coz i overslept. I still went to join them for lunch, then we went to town, shop at Heeren, Cine and Wheelock. RAYMOND was such a good good OGL he treated us to crepes and drinks. SO generous!!! =D

Dinner @ FOODREPUPLIC was the main highlight man. We spoke alot alot alot..gossips and HEEX. So fun. LOL. That's when we sat the longest and chat like old frends that has nvr spoke for years. We are being baddies la...slowly finish our food, so that we can have the seats to chat. LOL. XL is the mastermind behind this...LOL. & the cleaners are bad enuff to attempt to steal my bowl of unfinished noodles away. I was so shocked and high becos of the convo we were having that i say "Nonono" like crazy girl. Haha..then the cleaner oso kenna shock..then leave him vry paiseh. XDXDXD. Well, i m sorry but urs truly didnt did it on purpose. =P. BLEAHHHH. LOL. SO yea...we parted at around 10.20pm. >.< MORE THAN 12 hours ok. Wheew.

& the next few school days are quite alrite. Keep seeing my dear og campers in the canteen coz they are damn free wif ultra unbelievable long breaks. LOL. Talk to them and found out that they are vry bored by the lectures. XD Just like us when we were J1s back then. Haha.

& i finally got to write OGL recommendation for CAMPERS. Recalling those ARROGANT OGLS who wrote recommendations for me sucks big time. I dun understand y they have to put on airs when we ask them to write recommendations for us. They like ai-mai ai-mai. Feel like smacking them and sometimes we got back a one line recommendation. it's like WTF so i knew the feeling n of coz..i gonna treat my campers rite. I wrote recommendations tht filled up the whole box. YAY. So, im total i wrote for 2, not alot but it's comforting that at least they want to be an OGL after seeing the things we do for campers. HAHA.

& yea, VERBAL NUGGETS started wif a bang. That's a good news. HAPPY to see alot of people listening but..oh well, just hope it lasts. Haha.

& TODAY is a scary day. I had numerous incidents wif my ankle...it almost got twisted!!! ARGGGHH. SO scary. Firstly, the most embarassing thing and chocking moment ever in 2008, i fell when i was walking down the stairs in LT5. OMGG. I nvr lost balance like tht & nvr knew y my ankle gave way when i walked down. It was so painful that i sat thr, couldnt move for a min. But, had to quickly get back to sit coz lecture is starting. Then, during PC. We were doing some trio exercises, then had to do side gallops. I got kicked by a girl from another class accidentally coz i was a tad too fast, too close to her and she was a tad too slow, too close to me. & i almost fell again. WTH. So this weird feeling in ankle is bugging me. Then, came MASS DANCE during VN. ARGGGH. Almost sprained again becos of the jumping. OH MY!!!!!! I dun wanna sprain my ankle, if not...it will easily get sprained in the future. =(

SO yea, this is the compressed(but not vry compressed) version of my camp and the few days after it. =D So far so good, i just nid more sleep. HEEEEE
