its been a long time since i blogged..Uhh..i think its been the opening phrase for me whenever i write...=.=
Anyway, i just want to vent some of my frustrations which will inevitably lead to speaking
standard good english. I am sure most of us must have experience some kind of misunderstandings when trying to pass a piece of information, havent you? Its irritating when it happens to me. I was so frustrated when i was asking someone through sms about sth. I asked the question like in 5 different phrasings n yet the recepient could still not make up what i was saying. If i was a mute, i think i would have died from heart attack or a stroke. My anger was fuming like the volcanoes about to erupt ok...
Its not as if i was using sophisticated english but the recepient just failed to understand. So is it my fault? I dun really know perhaps the prob lies wif the tones or sth but i was quite sure tht wat i said was gramatically correct n understoodable. Just wat isit so difficult to understand.
Later in the day, after an hour or so. I met with a similar incident again. I was like...=.=. Is my english that poor or wat. I think, if anyone agrees, i gonna jump down frm the building.
This time round, it was a vry simple question? "Are the tickets free?" and she replied "i m performing!!! rmb to support me!" stunned. So wat m i suppose to react...kept saying she was performing n i shld support her BUT SHE DIDNT answer my qns. N if i keep insist on asking..i would be like those auntie trying to get a cheap deal. BUT i wasnt, i m just trying to understand.
OMG. Its so hard to be understood n so hard to understand someone.
